School Cottage
Was built around 1850 of Cornish stone and slate and was used as a school until 1905. Now it has been converted into two very attractive cottages. Inside there is a light and airy feel, with a wood burning stove, chapel-style roof beams and lovely soft furnishings which add to the overall charm.

If you are a couple or a small family looking for a perfect cottage in the Padstow area. Then School Cottage is First Class in a perfect location. All the facilities and the cottage in general is excellent, great communication from the owner from booking to arrival, very professional. We had a wonderful family holiday and really felt at home at School Cottage.

Fabulous cottage, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Parking and lovely courtyard that caught sun all day. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and our standards are high!
This was our third trip to School Cottage and it was as amazing as ever. Ideal spot to visit all 7 local beaches, Heligan and 25 minutes from the Eden Project and St Austell. Definitely recommend this for couples like us or families

The picturesque medieval fishing port of Padstow is only 2 miles from School Cottage. The unspoilt town has many pubs and restaurants nestled in it’s warren of narrow streets and alleys, including Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant. There are many attractions including sailing, tennis, horse riding, deep sea fishing, speed boat rides, bicycle hire and wind surfing.
The golden sands of Harlyn bay are close by and this beach is one of the safest for children. There are also 6 other bays within a 5 mile radius.The golf club at Trevose Head has three courses, a championship 18, a short and a long 9 hole course. The numerous cliff walks and panoramic views around this area are truly magnificent.
THE PERFECT SPOT
Little Petherick is a delightful Cornish village with slate hung, pastel coloured houses sheltering at the head of the Petherick Creek and is very close to Padstow.
The village has a beautiful Church, Hotel Inn Bistro and Molesworth Manor (which is excellent for cream teas) all within easy walking distance.

Bed linen, towels and tea towels (NOT beach towels) are supplied, Deposits will be forfeited should you cancel your booking, unless a suitable alternative let can be found. Sorry no pets allowed.
Short lets available from November to March, 3 nights + @ £110 per night.
All lets are from 4pm Saturday to 9am Saturday. Unless otherwise arranged. A deposit of 25% is required when booking. The balance is payable no later than 56 days (8 weeks) before commencement of let. Email receipts will ALWAYS be sent.
A caretaker cleaner always attends between lets to clean and change linen, the cottage will always be spick and span when you arrive.
